It feels good to know that weekly I can provide products from my family farm that will go out into our community. Kohala Food Hub has encouraged me to cultivate more food products to contribute to our community’s food security and sustainability.

This program has been very beneficial to my ʻohana. Having nine grandchildren living with us, it has helped make more healthy meals. Given us a wider range of veggies that can be costly. The people that set up and distribute the bags are very kind and friendly. They carry the aloha spirit. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Explore Our 2025 Annual Report

2025 was our most impactful year yet. Feed Hawaiʻi, DBA Kohala Food Hub, distributed more than 216,000 pounds of local food, over double the previous year, while expanding access to fresh food, increasing income for local producers, and serving more than 1,700 households through our free food, online market, and CSA programs. We also invested in critical infrastructure, launched our first educational program, Recipe for Success, and expanded workforce development opportunities through community partnerships. None of this would have been possible without the support of our farmers, volunteers, partners, and customers who are helping build a stronger, more resilient local food system for Hawaiʻi Island.
